Hi,

I'm aware this is a little offtopic as well, but could anybody perhaps
measure (phsyical dimensions) an i1d2 or colormunki smile for me?

I'm particularly interested in the area (height/width) where it makes
contact with the display...

Hi,
I'm not quite sure what you're after - perhaps a shadow template
for positioning ?

You could approximate it by a 31mm radius circle plus a 22mm radius circle
at a center offset of 29mm.
The Sensors exist within a depression about 15mm in diameter in the center
of the 31mm radius circle.
