I am interesting to find out about -I option in printcal, and what is the purpose if it’s doesn’t affect on profile?

Hi

In my understanding it only "records" response of device as is, without altering its behaviour (hence null calibration curves).
This option may be usefull when you want to save characteristic of particular device for future verification
or "clone" it to other similar devices (they will mimic original device behaviour).
